Dear NWTN members,
you are all invited to join the board members for the first NWTN Summer Picnic to be held at Heaton Park on Sunday, 2 July 2017 from 1pm.
We will meet on the lawn just off the Hall car park (access via St Margaret’s Road), opposite (i.e. to the East of) the northern play area and fairly close to the Stables Café. You should be able to find the location on this map which also has full details of all the park’s attractions: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1VSagm6eBtli4l1B0cJshwdPB9VE&ll=53.536121600000016%2C-2.255340799999999&z=15
The park now even boasts a Treetop Trek: https://www.treetoptrek.co.uk/manchester
You can organise your own snacks, drinks and anything you think might come in handy for Sunday afternoon fun at the park or buy refreshments from the café.
Please feel free to bring along any friends and family of any age who can be tempted to spend an afternoon in the company of even more translators than the one(s) they already know…
The Dogs Trust Funday will be taking place on the same day so parking might be difficult. You can also get to Heaton Park by Metrolink (line to Bury). The Station Gate entrance is immediately opposite the Metrolink station, about 10 -15 minutes walk from the northern play area.
We look forward to seeing you!
