NWTN Guided Walk “What did the Germans ever do for us?”

21 June, 2019 @ 5:00 pm 7:00 pm

2018/19 has been a successful year for the NWTN, culminating in our winning the ITI Award 2019 for Regional groups and networks – event/initiative for our NWTN Social Saturdays!

Melanie and Angela have very much enjoyed organising the NWTN training and events over the last years, but are now stepping down, leaving training and events in the capable hands of Mike Hanson and a whole group of enthusiastic NWTN colleagues.

To celebrate our success, we would like to invite NWTN members (and family) to a guided walk tour through Manchester on the topic of “What did the Germans ever do for us?” Learn about the German merchants and their families who, at the end of the eighteenth century, formed one of Manchester’s biggest foreign communities.

This guided tour also ties in with our Workshop/Translation for Tourism event on Saturday, 22 June, which you may also book in addition!
