NWTN Social Saturday: “A changing world: streamlined business administration in the digital era”
16 November @ 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm
An insight into today’s digital world and the next-generation tools that will streamline the administration of your business
Nick Rosenthal of Salford Translations will give a short presentation, followed by a question-and-answer session covering various aspects of running your own business in today’s digital world, and looking at some of the new tools available to us, including new-generation bank accounts such as Tide, digital book-keeping and “making tax digital”.
This will be followed by a panel session in the second half of the afternoon, where Nick will be joined by NWTN members at different stages of their career, to answer questions on general business-related aspects of being a freelance, e.g. credit control, information security issues, record-keeping, whether to employ an accountant, etc.
Nick is a former ITI Chairman and NWTN committee member who will be known to many people through social media, the ITI Bulletin and presentations at ITI Conferences. He has run his own translation business for the past 30 years, and has a particular interest in the areas of IT and customer service.
This event is aimed at all NWTN members who are self-employed.
