POSTPONED: NWTN 35th Anniversary Dinner/Dance
16 May, 2020 @ 7:30 pm – 17 May, 2020 @ 1:00 am
The time has come to announce a special event that does not happen every year….YOUR NWTN will be celebrating its 35th birthday in 2020!
Whether you’ve been a member since day one or you’ve only just joined, this event will be a great chance to network and celebrate all that is brilliant about the North West Translators’ Network during a fun, relaxed evening! With so many people involved with the network over the years and so many developments in both the translation and interpreting industries, we want to pay homage to them by focusing on the past, present and future of our network. We would love you to join us!
This event will be held in a private, fully-accessible dining room, at the Albert Square Chop House in the heart of Manchester on 16th May 2020 from 7.30 pm until 1 am. Come and meet the NWTN Committee, make new connections, hear about past and future events, feast on a range of tasty vegetarian, fish and meat dishes as well as dessert*, enjoy live entertainment by the Ooh Olive Aahs and then let your hair down and dance to the music tracks of our years!
Tickets cost £45 for Standard tickets (you do not have to be an NWTN member to attend and your partners are welcome too!), and 5 student tickets are available priced at only £22.50 – book early to avoid disappointment! We’re sure you’ll agree that it’s a bargain for such a fun-filled evening that will double up as CPD for those conscientious members who wish to log their CPD hours! Please also be assured that this is a tax-deductible event. Payment by instalment is also available on request – please contact the Organisers directly for further details via email@example.com
Tickets are available via the Eventbrite link below, where you will be able to register whether you require vegan or gluten free food options. Don’t miss out on what promises to be a cracking evening!
****Coronavirus (COVID-19) update: due to the escalating seriousness of the threat posed by Coronavirus, we have decided to postpone all NWTN events until the situation settles down. We hope to run this event in October/November.
If you hold a ticket for this event, it will remain valid so please keep it safe and await further updates. If you are unable to make the new date when decided, then a refund will be issued at that point.
If you wish to request an immediate refund, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org – please do not request it via Eventbrite unless instructed to do so by the NWTN Committee. Please bear in mind that once current restrictions are lifted, you may struggle to rebook when the demand for “live” events increases again!****
*The ‘Hot Bowl Food’ will include 4 savoury bowls per person plus 2 dessert bowls. Individual menu choices will not be available. If you have any allergies or food intolerances, please indicate them during the booking process so we can notify the venue.
