DESCRIPTION:Escape with a good book…    \n\n\n\nThose cold winter evenings are now upon us… so it’s the perfect opportunity to snuggle up in our favourite cosy chair by the fire and escape with a good book! \n\n\n\nSo\, as the main topic of discussion for our next NWTN Bookchat session\, we’ve chosen books that have the power to whisk us away to other places\, and even other worlds. \n\n\n\n– What have you read that has taken you back to a place you have visited in the past? What effect did it have on you? \n\n\n\n– Have you ever read anything that has really made you want to visit a place? Why? Did you ever visit it? \n\n\n\n– What have you read that has transported you to another world?  \n\n\n\n– For you\, which particular authors really conjure up a sense of place in their works? \n\n\n\nWe will then have the opportunity to hear NWTN Treasurer\, Andrew Wilson\, talking about his ‘Desert Island Reads’. We need others of you to tell us about your Desert Island Reads in future sessions – so get thinking!! \n\n\n\nAs usual\, the session will end with an opportunity to exchange reading recommendations.
