DESCRIPTION:Have you ever asked yourself WHY you are a member of a local network like the NWTN? How about reminding yourself exactly why by joining us for a one-day face-to-face workshop in Manchester\, geared towards collaboration and support among colleagues? \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis event is aimed at all members\, whether newbies to the profession or experienced translators and interpreters. Let’s explore the varied ways we can support each other and work together moving forward. Let’s help each other to progress our businesses and in doing so\, we’ll demonstrate that we’re “Stronger Together”! \n\n\n\nWhat’s it about? \n\n\n\nThe event will kick off with a short introductory presentation that will provide an outline for the day\, with some thought-provoking ideas to get the creative and collaborative juices flowing. Hit us with your expectations but also wow us with your solutions! We’ll then break off into facilitated group discussions where we’ll share our experiences and express our needs. \n\n\n\nThe outcome? By the end of the day\, you’ll have a better understanding of the four concepts of collaboration\, revision\, accountability and mentoring\, and you’ll appreciate how you can make them work for yourself\, as well as for others. The event will be the perfect forum for networking with your peers on a local level and for putting all the concepts you’ve learned into practice. \n\n\n\nRegistration will be at 9.30 am\, with the first session starting promptly at 9.45 am. \n\n\n\nHow much? \n\n\n\nThis event will be heavily subsidised for our members as we’d like as many of you to attend as possible – lunch will be provided. You will be able to indicate any dietary requirements upon booking. DESCRIPTION:Join Kate Lo\, Laurence Bisot and colleagues for another day of coworking at Media City in Salford!  \n\n\n\nWe’ll be joining The Northern Affinity members again for their coworking day. The Northern Affinity connects like-minded businesspeople across the North – we’ll join them at ARRIVE Blue in MediaCity to experience this fantastic business hub. \n\n\n\nAmenities include onsite private parking (extra charge applies unless you notify Kate Lo of your car registration number in advance) and breakout areas including kitchenettes and lounge seating.
