DESCRIPTION:Have you ever asked yourself WHY you are a member of a local network like the NWTN? How about reminding yourself exactly why by joining us for a one-day face-to-face workshop in Manchester\, geared towards collaboration and support among colleagues? \n\n\n\nThis event is aimed at all members\, whether newbies to the profession or experienced translators and interpreters. Let’s explore the varied ways we can support each other and work together moving forward. Let’s help each other to progress our businesses and in doing so\, we’ll demonstrate that we’re “Stronger Together”! \n\n\n\nEven if you have attended last year\, you are welcome to this new session\, updated and enhanced thanks to the feedback received after Stronger Together 2023. \n\n\n\nWe will start the day by asking last year’s attendees what they have been able to put in place since last year. \n\n\n\nWe will also extend the Post-it activity through the whole day to provide more time for everyone’s questions – and answers! We will discuss the four concepts of collaboration addressed last year with more focus on your specific questions and the answers will be collected for the benefit of all. \n\n\n\nWe will break off into facilitated group discussions where we’ll share our experiences and express our needs: interpreters will have more chance to exchange ideas and support\, and we will discuss the various ways of coworking\, and how it can help you in your business\, your work and your well-being. \n\n\n\nThe outcome? By the end of the day\, you’ll have a better understanding of the concepts of collaboration and accountability\, and you’ll appreciate how you can make them work for yourself\, as well as for others.
