Why are you part of a local network like the NWTN?  \n\n\n\nRemind yourself why by joining us for a one-day face-to-face workshop in Manchester\, geared towards collaboration and support among colleagues! \n\n\n\nWhether you’re a newbie to the profession or an experienced translator and/or interpreter\, let’s explore the varied ways we can support and help each other to progress our businesses and\, in doing so\, we’ll demonstrate we’re “Stronger Together”! Think you’ve heard it all before? Think again – this edition promises to be the best yet as it’s been updated and enhanced following feedback from Stronger Together 2023 and 2024. \n\n\n\nWhat’s in store? \n\n\n\n\nWhat have you put in place since 2024? \n\n\n\nWhat’s been on your ‘To Do’ list and now needs to be ‘Done’?\n\n\n\nA review of the Miro board and discussion about any questions and issues raised last time\n\n\n\nFacilitated group discussions about experiences and current business needs\n\n\n\nInterpreters: more chance to exchange ideas and support\n\n\n\nDiscussion about technology needs\, including website content ideas and inspiration\n\n\n\nDiscussion about AI and machine translation – the risks to clients\, pitfalls\, positives and what we can do to communicate our unique qualities as ‘human’ translators.\n\n\n\n\nThe outcome? By the end of the day\, you’ll have a better understanding of the concepts discussed and will appreciate how we can help and support each other.
