I remember how NWTN offered me, a young translator new to the field and living in a new country, not just professional support but a way to find people who I found interesting, genuine and kind. Being a member of NWTN has been invaluable to me. It has been useful and enjoyable meeting fellow translators and interpreters at various different stages in their careers. I always get a real buzz after attending an NWTN event. The other members are friendly and happy to offer professional advice. Last summer, at my request, the events committee arranged a two-day training session on CAT tools.
