Members are cordially invited to join us in Heaton Park, Manchester, for the NWTN Summer Picnic.
We will meet on the hilly meadow by the Papal Monument, west of the Boating Lake. You should be able to find the location on this map (downloadable), which also has full details of all the park’s attractions:
You can also find the very spot (pictured above – giant basket not included) by using the app ‘what3words’ and searching for clear.once.lonely, a perfect spot to get together again 🙂
You can bring your own lunch, drinks and treats. There may be light snacks available at the Boating Lake café (we are not sure if there are any takeaway options).
Please feel free to bring along any friends, family and pets. We will be happy to meet them in the flesh after having had a glimpse of them on Zoom…
The meeting point is closest to the Sheepfoot Lane Car Park, and half a mile from the Bowker Vale Metrolink stop.
As we may still be limited to a maximum group of 30 (including children), we ask that you register for the event on Eventbrite:
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact Laurence on chair@nwtn.org.uk.
