French Wedding Ceremony
June 2024
Role: Translator and English Speaker
Responsibilities:
• Translating the ceremony as well as delivering it in English on the day.
• Translating speeches and vows to be included in the printed Order of Service.
• Liaising with the wedding planner on a regular basis to ensure the smooth delivery of the ceremony to both the Francophone and Anglophone guests.

Autumn Translation Project (Collaboration with Heriot-Watt and the Edinburgh Spanish Consulate)
October 2022-December 2022
Role: Project Manager
Responsibilities:
• Drafting, finalising and overseeing the work schedule, adjusting as needed.
• Dividing and delegating the workload between a team of two translators and two editors so that the texts were completed and finalised within the given timeframe.
• Presided over weekly meetings to check progress and provide a platform to voice concerns or ask any questions so that appropriate support could be offered.

Summer Translation Project (Collaboration with Heriot-Watt and the Edinburgh Spanish Consulate)
May 2022-August 2022
Role: Reviewer and editor
Responsibilities:
• Reviewing and editing translated literature on Spanish and Scottish heritage and literary figures for publication.
• Proofreading translations from Spanish into English on a weekly basis.
• Working collaboratively with a fellow editor and the translators working on the texts to ensure overall quality and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensuring that the finished product was delivered within the given timeframe.
