as you can see above my link text experiment worked.
So just paste your URL in and it should be converted* to a clickable link on [Submit]
*) This will probably only work if the URL starts with a well-known protocol (like http, https or ftp)
You definitely can do this with the
https://html-online.com/editor/ (I just pasted the link text in to see whether it will be converted on saving/sending this message)
However, it is probably faster to use our editor as it has a
button 🙂
Actually, on using it I got to understand what you mean with “Instilled page”. Each time you click anywhere in the Add link dialog it opens this page. May be Sue could remove it. In the meantime just don’t click on it but just write and use tab to cycle through the fields
Fastest is probably to learn the HTML syntax: <a href=”put URL here“>and your text here</a>
Feel yourself assimilated
This editor is really annoying 🙁
Thanks, I figured it out 🙂 <= used the ascii code for the emoticon here (colon, dash, bracket) I’m not sure I’m convinced by this forum plugin. Didn’t Sue say there was another one we could try? (Just trying out some fancy formatting. RED GREEN / Where are my emoticons? ? <= emoticon copied from Word Unfortunately the editor doesn’t seem to be WYSIWYG and copying from Word doesn’t work either.)
Just trying out some fancy formatting. | Unfortunately the editor doesn’t seem to be WYSIWYG. Let’s see if copying some HTML code works at least. |
RED GREEN / Where are my emoticons? | ? |
I used this editor: https://html-online.com/editor/ and copy&pasted the code. |
This is my reply to the 2nd topic.
I can’t see a separate forum profile. Is there one?
Also ticked

.
The formatting buttons are something to get used to.
