The NWTN has been very valuable to me in my career as a freelance translator.  When I started out as a freelancer, I took part in the NWTN mentoring programme, which enabled me to gain some helpful, practical insights into the opportunities and challenges of freelance translation work from an experienced translator.  I have found the NWTN training events on topics ranging from translating legal terminology to marketing and record keeping to be an excellent resource fo my continuing professional development and a great way to meet fellow professional translators.  The NWTN has also helped me to find new clients by including my profile in the NWTN directory.  For these reasons, I think NWTN membership is an excellent choice for aspiring, new and established translators alike.
