Bookchat Chapter 18

Whether you’re a regular or have never attended before, we’ll be delighted to see you on Zoom from 7.00 pm on Tuesday 20th January for Bookchat chapter 18!

🎄 Our topic this time:

• Did you receive any books for Christmas? Do you like them?
• Did you offer any books for Christmas? How do you choose a book for someone else?
• Does the festive period influence your reading? Did you have more/less time to read?
• Any reading resolution for the New Year?

🏝️ Desert Island Reads… 
This time we don’t have anyone to tell us what 8 beloved books they would take to a desert island. We are looking for new readers to join the bookchat and the desert island list is an excellent way to introduce yourself as a reader. Please contact Laurence ahead of the bookchat for any guidance and to inform us you’re coming.

🤔 If we don’t have a castaway reader this time, we could talk about the classics we would like to read… one day. Or the ones we tried and abandon, or the ones we would never read… prepare your arguments for the discussion! ⁉️

📚 As ever, the session will end with an opportunity to exchange book recommendations. Has anyone caught up with some reading this summer? Any beach/travel books to recommend?
