b) English Language Support in the Nuclear Industry
Since 2012, I have participated on site in 26 Peer Review missions at nuclear power stations in France, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Slovenia, Finland and the UK, providing English language support services for WANO (the World Association of Nuclear Operators). The work has included French-English interpreting but primarily involves assisting a multinational team of safety reviewers (most of whom do not have English as their mother tongue) to express their findings in clear and concise written English.
