Additional Information:
An award-winning and highly qualified lawyer-linguist, I translate legal, sports and literary texts from French and Spanish into English.
I offer inside knowledge of the legal profession gained from a decade practising law in London and Brussels. I currently work with the Court of Justice of the European Union in addition to individuals, businesses, law firms and specialist translation agencies. You can count on me to provide certified translations for official purposes (such as passport and immigration applications) and for use in court proceedings.
I also specialise in football and sports law translation and am the Co-Coordinator of the Sports Network of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting. I am regularly trusted by international governing bodies, top-tier football clubs and global event organisers. My translations have even appeared on TV, in film and in football museums.
I am an emerging literary translator with a particularly keen interest in contemporary literary fiction and sports-related non-fiction, including (auto)biographies. I am available to provide reviews, samples or readers’ reports on request.
