As promised, here are the details of the French and Spanish novels I selected.
– “Un sac de billes” by Joseph Joffo. the story of two young Jewish boys and their adventures as they try to reach the Free Zone. Sequel is entitled “Babyfoot”.
– “La sombra del viento” by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, part of the “Cementerio de los libros olvidados” series. Sequels: “El juego del ángel”, “El prisionero del cielo” and “EL laberinto de los espíritus”.
